The Johnny Miles Marathon was first run in 1975. It is part of the Johnny Miles Running Event Weekend with 5K, 10K and half marathon races also taking place.

Johnny Miles Marathon Route
The marathon is 4 loops of the 10K course. Each loop is mostly flat with a few undulating hills and the one short, steep hill. The route takes in the scenic trail system that made up of the Samson and Albion Trails.
